These bowls hold my memories of our time this year in a Turkish hamam - hot, steamy and lots of water. I bought these beautiful handmade bowls in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul from a lovely antique seller and they are centuries old. Used to pour water over your body, as well as for a headrest (upside down), they are exquisitely crafted. The hammered patterns can be seen echoed inside and out.
